In the “I Get Money” remix Jay-Z said some things that many people felt was a diss to LL Cool J (“I’m already the goat, the next stop is the billyâ€). Seems like LL felt that way also. In the following video LL talks about getting at an unnamed emcee. The only clue he provides as to who he is talking about is at the end of the video when he says, “When you were doing that verse, you should have been doing your job”. A reference to Jay-Z’s “I Get Money” verse?
LL has been critical of Jay-Z job as an exec at Def Jam in the past. Could that be the reason for the bad blood? Personally I’d love to see a Jay-Z/ LL Cool J feud. They are two of the most iconic artists in hip hop history. And I have a firm belief that they’d be able to keep it strictly lyrical.

Dont get me wrong I respect LL a lot and from the point of longevity and still being relevant he is the G.O.A.T. but lyrically I think Jay would destroy him. L is going to need his best stuff for this one maybe his new best friend Mr. Cent can help him!
