According to Tony Yayo‘s lawyer, Scott Leeman, a mystery witness in the Lil’ Henchmen assualt case came forward and given a sworn statement that an unidentified man actually assaulted Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond‘s 14-year old son.

The witness apparently knows both Tony Yayo and the 14-yr. old James Rosemond and has agreed to testify the Yayo did not assault the minor.

Leemon was quoted as saying that this witness “clearly vindicates my client.” The Judge suggested that detectives of this case and the prosecutors question and investigate this witness immediately for any verification and confirmation. The name of the witness is being withheld.

Yayo was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, assault and harassment and for allegedly smacking Henchman’s son back in March.  Trial is set to begin in December.
