In what would have otherwise just have been another Glavine-esque six-plus innings against the Cubs, The crafty lefthander Tom Glavine of the New York Mets added one more final element to his Hall of Fame Resume…300 wins.Â

A feat probably never to be attained again save a miraculous healing of Randy Johnson’s back, Glavine became just the 23rd pitcher to reach 300, the fifth of the left-handed persuasion, the fourth with a strong Braves connection and the first to do so wearing a Mets uniform.Â
Although not my favorite Met probably the one I respect the most and admire for the way he goes about doing his business so as 4PL may admire the homerun achievements of Baroid Bonds on Stray-Rod in this day in age the class of the league today is Mr. Glavine. What do you think Lexicon167 and Richard Coleman III? Cheers.Â

300 wins is BIG, they gonna eventually drop the benchmark to like 250 wins to get into the Hall after Glavine cause no one else is going to get there
