You all might have seen this since it surfaced last week but apparently the founder of Facebook is being sued by two of his college classmates who claim he stole the idea from him.Â
According to the Boston Herald, Identical twins, Cameron and Tyler Winkleyoss, founders of ConnectU.com are claiming that their Harvard classmate and Facebook.com founder Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea for a networking website which was originally focused on the Harvard community.Â
Court documents indicate that the twins allege to have had an oral contract with Zuckerberg to make their “Harvard Connection” site a reality in return for 25 percent of the profits.Â
Their case however is paper thin. U.S. District Court Judge Douglas P. Woodlock who is presiding over the case says the oral agreement isn’t legally binding. “Dorm room chit-chat does not make a contract,” Woodlock said. “A vague contract is no contract at all.” He has given the twins 30 days to present more evidence or have the case dismissed.Â
It’s amazing how lucky some people get. Honestly this Zuckerberg probably did steal the idea and just acted quicker. I guess that’s the nature of the beast. Wish I were that lucky. It’s like finding a winning lottery ticket.Â

Its not luck at all! Its the difference between having a good idea and making moves to make that Idea a reality, and Just having a good idea. At this point it doesn’t matter who’s idea it was Zuckerberg made it reality probably with a lot of hard work that these other 2 bums and their off brand website had no part of. Now they wanna claim a piece when he cakes off. FUGEDABOUT IT! If facebook didn’t become myspace junior these 2 clowns would not be in court.
