Did I ever say its all about keeping the sponsors happy?  OF COURSE IT IS.  Well my man Twista is learning the hard way.  The laser quick Chicago emcee has been deleted from McDonald’s Corps plans to include him in a 10 city live music tour.

McDonald’s USA made the decision following concerns raised about the artist’s controversial lyrics,” the company said in a statement issued Friday. The Sun-Times reported Tuesday that the Oak Brook-based fast-food giant had lined up the musician for the youth initiative which obviously would have raised some eye-brows.

Twista has been the target of a local community billboard campaign to denounce rappers who used suggestive lyrics and perpetuate violence. Twista, like most rappers is guilty of the ho/bitch clause.

NOTE TO CORPORATE AMERICA: if it’s a squeaky clean image you seek use Barney or the Teletubies…rap is tarnished by nature.
