WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife andÂ 7-year-old son wereÂ found dead Monday but the police are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide but has yet toÂ be confirmed.Â Autopsies of the deceasedÂ will be conducted on TuesdayÂ in Atlanta, GA.Â

Currently speculation butÂ WAGA-TV is reporting the 40-year-old wrestler killed his wife Nancy and son, Daniel over the weekend and committed suicide on Monday.Â The bodies were found in three separate rooms.Â

World Wrestling Entertainment released a statement saying they asked authorities toÂ check on Benoit at his homeÂ after friendsÂ received “several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning.”Â

Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the details of the incident may “prove a little bizarre” to the public when released.Â

“WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family’s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy,” the wrestling organization said in a statement on its Web site. Benoit was scheduled to perform at the “Vengeance” pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called “personal reasons.”Â The WWE canceled its live “Monday Night RAW” card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.

Str8 gamble. When I flipped on to RAW last night, about the last half hour I aint know what was goin on because the Info box was sayin ‘vince mcmahon” memorial for that fake death…but when JR said ” In memory of Chris ‘Ben’Raw…Benoit(yeah he mess’d up dudes name)” my mouth dropped.

They are saying Benoit murdered strangled his wife, smothered his son and then hung himself in his weight room. The term “roid rage” is being thrown around but i just can’t wrap my head around someone doing that.

Benoit was one of my favorite wrestlers due to his cold personality and ruthless agression. I wonder if it not those some characteristics that caused this tragedy.

New details are saying that he was in the house for up to a full day with the bodies of his wife and son before killing himself.

Also his son had needle marks in his arm and was given human growth hormone

Tonight on ECW on sci-fi Vince mcmahon will apologize for the tribute that aired for benoit last night as they put together the show before they need that Benoit had killed his family
