Rapper 50 Cent will not have to testify at the upcoming trial of Denver Nuggets guard Allen Iverson in Washington D.C. this month after a federal judge ruled Friday that his proximity to the courthouse made his subpoena unreasonable.Â
His presence was required originally because two people have accused Iverson of assault, conspiracy and other charges stemming from a fight between customers and members of his security detail. You’re probably saying how did 50 get mixed up in that. Well he in the fight but the prosecuting attorney’s attest that he personally knew some of Iverson’s security detail and could testify about their ill behavior.Â
Fifty attorneys’ rightfully argued that since he was not involved in the incident and is not named in the complaint, he could refuse to travel from his home in Hartford, Connecticut to testify at trial.  The federal judge agreed, saying she did not have jurisdiction because Jackson lived more than 100 miles from the court. The plaintiffs are seeking more than $5 million from the security guards and Iverson.Â
Is it me or does 50 somehow get mixed up in every legal battle. Joe B. got shot on the corner, oh lets get 50 to testify, he’s been shot before he must have something to do with it. As far as I know the only thing the two have to do with each other is that they boy signed Reebok deals. He’s the official legal scapegoat. Â

50 is testifying on my behalf in my legal battle against an ill contract. He’s the best, if you ever get caught up in court a small fee will get 50 on your side.
