Remember that weird “big brother is watching” feeling you got the first time you went on Google Maps and realized it was possible to see a detailed satalite photo of your own house? Well the people at Google Maps have taken it a step futher with Google Maps Streetview. With Streetview you can now view a detailed view of an intersection right from street level and rotate your view around in 360 degrees. Cool stuff. Some people are already complaining about invasions of privacy though because when these detailed photos of these intersections were taken often times people were often caught in the pictures unknowingly. Think of it like this, imagine you are walking down the street and your underwear kinda slip into your butt and you figure you can go ahead and pull them out since no one is watching but someone was watching. Google Maps caught you and now every time someone looks at a detailed view of 22nd and Market there you are pulling your underwear out your butt. Not a good look.

Streetview is only availible in a few major cities now but Google has plan to continue to expand on the amount of cities that the service is offered for. You can check out the video below where the people from Google explain the feature in thier own words.
