Also known as the Hip Hop Violinist, Miri Ben-Ari has been been developing a sound that meshes Hip Hop with classical violin. She’s really been grinding. You may have caught her on a talent portion of such shows like 106 & Park or Showtime at the Apollo. She’s worked with some big names in rap music such as Kanye West, Twista and Lil Wayne yet she is yet to get any mainstream exposure. I always loved her sound, but I never knew she was Israili. That may be a first…..I don’t know.
