The guys at Sony has created the world’s thinnest display. The screen’s display is not much thicker than a sheet of paper. Also the display can be bent without breaking. Sony was quick to show off thier new tech Friday but they honestly aren’t sure what they are going to use the diplays for. Of course cell plhones come to mind. Maybe Sony well move thier Ericsson line into position to be a Motorola Razr rival. Right now Sony has not been able to make the screens no more than 2.5 inches tall but if they can get beyond the size constraints the possibilties are endless. For instance you may have a huge flat panel TV that doesn’t extend further than the surface of your wall. Or how bout video ads on the on the sides of buses…hmm. I think we are gonna have to set up a meeting between Highbrid Outdoor and Sony.
