Public Enemy group member and reality star Flavor Flav will be roasted by Comedy Central this summer.
The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also executive produced and directed classic roast of William Shatner and Pamela Anderson.
“We only roast the ones we love and the world is clearly crazy about this guy,” said Elizabeth Porter, senior vice president, specials and talent for Comedy Central. “This event will be full of surprises as Flavor Flav is going to experience a whole new kind of love in this Roast.”
Flavor Flav, born William Drayton, is currently on tour with Public Enemy.
He has starred in VH1′s hit reality series’ Surreal Life Strange Love and the record breaking Flavor of Love series.
The Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav will air on Sunday, Aug.12 at 10:00 p.m.
