Porno production company Kick Ass Pictures is attempting to teach everyone a lesson in capitolism.  They are planning the release of a DVD entitled “Nappy Headed Ho’s,†of course making reference to the comments made by Don Imus about the Rutgers basketball team.Â
According to a company press release, the film will feature ”girls with closely twisted or curled hair (the dictionary definition of ‘nappy’), who have sex for cash (the dictionary definition of ‘ho’).” Kick Ass president Mark Kulkis had this to say:
“We see this as a free speech issue; as an adult media speech issue. As an adult media company, we’re especially defensive of free speech. Don Imus is a loudmouth and perhaps a bigot. However, CBS Radio was hypocritical in hiring Imus to be blunt and outspoken, then firing him for the same reason. Fellow broadcast personalities Ann Coulter and Pat Robertson spew anti-gay slurs, yet they are not fired by their networks.”
Kulkis plans to donate $1 from each DVD sold to a retirement fund for Imus. As if he needs it. Honestly I don’t see a problem with the making of the video. Its generating buzz for a product from an industry most people try to disregard or forget about but an industry none the less.  If it helps generate sales then I guess its positive for thier cause. As far as a retirement fund for Imus. The man was receiving a salary similar to that of Jose Reyes of the New York Mets so why would anyone feel sorry for the man from a financial stand point.Â
