Hey people its me again I don’t know how many people are interested in something this but what the heck!!! Suffolk County is having and open competitive examination for the title of Police Officer. For those who do not know anything about Suffolk county police officers they are one of the HIGHEST paid police officers in the United States. Starting salary is $57,811, and top salary after five years is well over 100k not including night time differential, and over time pay, etc. The filing deadline is April 11th 2007, the written test is June 9th 2007. APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE is $100 NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE payable to the SUFFOLK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL SERVICE.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma recognized by the New York State Department of Education, by the date of appointment. No substitution of experience for education will be permitted
