I remember when I was reserching baseball schools I was shocked to see GRAMBLING with a great baseball program. He had a hand in that. Although he was a very accomplished coach I believe he never got the accolades he deserved b/c he coached a black school. He's never mentioned in the Bear Bryant Joe Paterno Mike Walsh circles.
