Maroon 5 goes Hip Hop Casual.

Maroon 5. the rock band with a flavor that is often appreciated by hip hop failthful is collaborating with Casual of the Oakland based, Hieroglyphics Crew to work on a compilation “summertime party” album  due out early summer 2007.

The project stemed from an interaction where Casual dropped a few freestyles on Maroon instrumentals during sound check at the Bonnaroo Festival.  No tracks have been released yet but here are some Casual remixes, courtesy of casualtreats.com that will give you a feeling of what to expect.
