I loved Aaliyah til death and beyond. I idolized her, sang like her, danced like her, dressed like her, even look a little like she did; But lets be real the girl was a jump off who was about as talented then as Keisha Cole is now.

Aaliyah… I love and miss you sooo much!! You are GREATLY missed.. I remember growing up and wanting to be just like you. I couldnt dance or sing but you made me feel like I could… Especially on your song “Are You That Somebody?” My stepsister and I taped that video and we would stand in front of the tv for hours trying to dance just like you… And I also remember being in a beauty pageant when I was younger and the judges asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said “AALIYAH” so then they all started to laugh… But let me end this now before I start to cry.. We shall meet again…:)
