What does it take to gain respect. It’s bad enough that half of America isn’t aware that yes, West Virginia is a seperate state from Virginia or perhaps that all West Virginia residents aren’t married to thier siblings. Well the disrespct of the state may have reached an all time high. Thursday after the West Virginia University hoops squad took home the National Invitation Tournament the Mountaineers were given commemorative T-shirts that were less than championship material.
The shirts, which were printed by the Tournament offices contained a glaring spelling error. The West Virginia printed was missing the last “i” in Virginia.Â
Are you effing kidding me? Ok maybe it’s one thing to leave off a “P” in Mississippi or an “N” in Connecticut but if the mispelling obviously spells another word…a part of the female anatomy…That’s wack. Its the ultimate smack in the face and the ultimate smith. My alma mater can’t catch a break. Â
