West Virginia Takes NIT Title at MSG. Michigan Courting Beilein

Today NFL Commissioner, Rodger Goodell met with Titans Cornerback, Adam “Pac-Man” Jones about his off-the-field antics subpoenaed Bengals Wide Receiver and former WVU football standout, Chris Henry for a meeting to discuss similar issues. However, today belonged to the West Virginia hoops squad as the “Mighty Mounts” took it to the Clemson Tigers defeating them 78-73 in the finals of the NIT at Madison Square Garden. It is the Mountaineers’ first NIT title since 1942.
Unfortunately the Michigan Wolverines Athletic Department has taken notice of the great job that coach John Beilein is doing and have scheduled to meet with him to discuss a possible future at the University. There’s a large buyout in the coaches contract but Beilein would be crazy to turn down the job to stay at WVU.
