Los Angeles Police officers were on hand to supervise as now defunct Death Row Records Chief Executive Marion “Suge†Knight was given the boot from his lavish condo on Wilshire Boulevard in L.A. Sources say his high profile neighbors including Farrah Fawcett, Carol Burnett and Patti LaBelle were catching peaks of the process as their resident bully was escorted out.
The eviction stems from Knight’s recent financial woes and court battles surrounding his ties to Death Row. Last week, Death Row was sued for $300,000 by Rap-A-Lot Records in conjunction with a failed 2Face joint venture project.
Last year, Hip Hop’s once bully, now washed up scrub filed for bankruptcy to avoid paying a $107 million judgment to Michael and Lydia Harris, who claim they helped Knight launch of Death Row with a $1.5 million investment.
The label was officially shut down when the court seized it in July 2006 due to mismanagement and bad accounting practices.
What does my boy R. Kelly say? What goes around…comes right back on around again. Yes it does!
