Last month Sirius Satelite Radio announced the acquisition of rival XM Satelite Radio Holdings Inc. and of course Highbrid Nation was all over the story.
Today Sirius promised customers more programming choices and lower prices in efforts to coax the Federal Government to approve the merger. Experts have said the deal faces an uphill battle as it borders on antitrust issues, sure to be examined by the Federal Communications Commission.
One large consumer issue has been discounts. Customers of both Sirius and XM already can block out adult channels such as Playboy
