But is he making a statement by ACCEPTING an award that is against Same-Sex Marriage as only PART of its platform. If he is…is it necessarily a big deal. He has a right to be opinionated even if he is a public figure.

Ridiculous. While both sides have a right to make their respective statements. There is one side that should feel ashamed of their actions- and it ain’t Dungy.

Dungy has every right to say what he wants. In fact, I wish he would come out and say it. I’m not asking Dungy to be quiet – I’m asking him to talk about his feelings on gay marriage and gay players.

Of course, I also have a right to comment on his thoughts.

And that is the beauty of this great country we live in.
