The legendary and admitted drug addict, Marc Jacobs, has entered reheb for drugs and alcohol. Jacobs is best known for being a trendy New York designer to the stars. However Monday, Jacobs’ longtime business partner Robert Duffy confirmed with Women’s Wear Daily that the gifted desiner had entered a treatment facility.

According to Duffy “He’d been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away.” The announcement comes on the heels of two nominations from the Council of Fashion Designers of America for its upcoming awards and three great fall previews, one for his Marc Jacobs brand, one for Marc by Marc Jacobs (London), and one in Paris for Louis Vuitton.
