Unfortunately I’m not making stuff up. Burger King‘s mascot who is simply referred to as “The King” is getting his own movie. Seems like the Burger King marketing people are really feeling themselves right now and plan on riding this thing until the wheels come off. As we reported a while back Burger King has already released three xbox 360 games starring The King. The games were only availible in Burger King resturants at the low price of $4.99. No word as to if the movie will also be a released in a similar way on DVD or will it actually go to the big screen and be seen in theatres (please no). according to MSN, Burger King’s marketing people are saying that the movie will be an “origin story” (?!?). I think this is an example of when marketing goes to far.

GAMBLE
That is just dumb as hell, no way around it. I hope they kill him off, he was a creepy mascot at first, but now he’s just annoying.
