Robert L. Johnson is easily the most succesful black man in history. He became the country’s first Black billionaire after he sold the Black Entertainment Television network (BET) for $3 billion in 2000. He is the first Black owner of a major sports team, the NBA’s first-year Charlotte Bobcats, which Johnson named after himself.

I dont know how i feel about guys like him and russel simmons whho build up this great black owned companies and then just sell them off to some huge corperation. I guess to each his own but if i put blood sweat and tears into something, no one could put a price on that. Guess it doesnt matter anyway, BET aint nothing but minstel tv anyway
