Bill O’Reilly is at it again. He does not understand why rapper Ludacris should be rewarded with a Grammy for what he says destroys music.
Afer rapper Ludacris won his Grammy for Best Rap Album, he gave a shout out to Oprah Winfrey and his #1 Fan Bill O’Reilly. Ludacris, one ofthe most known rappers has been overdue for this honor and has received it for his fifth album Release Therapy that was released September 2006. This, to date, is his lowest selling album. His next album will be call Theatre of the Mind and is due late in 2007.
On a recent showing of the O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reily attacked the rapper again. In the past Bill O’Reilly has cost Ludacris his advertising deal with The Pepsi Company, by saying a Ludacris is a negative influence on societies youth. This time he (O’Reilly) questions rewarding a person for using the N-word, calling women female dogs and garden tools and just being negative in general. He refers to Ludacris’ song Slap from his current album, Release Therapy, where rapper Ludacris uses the N-word 18 times and says he wants to kill his boss. O’Reilly goes on and says he thinks that rap has destroyed music. To cover his words and to make sure no one claims he is being a racist, he says that he liked Motown, and names various artists from there.
