American Idol LogoOnce again the media makes a point that is simply wrong. As reported on many stations and shows, like NBC’s Today and CBS’ Early Morning, American Idol has gone too far with the insults. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson insult dreamers as they step forth and try their best to prove they should be the next American Idol. The real question is who is insulting who?

Idol going into its sixth season has produced a lot of great pop artists, writers and even award winners. Jennifer Hudson such as Golden Globe (winner) and Academy Award Nominee, Jennifer Hudson but not one hit wonders. It is not just the winner of the million-dollar prize and recording contract who becomes famous, but if you make it to the top ten, you can almost guarantee fame. This is a serious competition, so it is insulting when people who obviously cannot sing waste the time of the judges that sit before them. Today, because of the false sympathy of the media, these losers come forward and try to make a name for themselves. There are people who come forward and really think William Hung on Idol Season 4they can sing can and will be good with a little training . But when you get a William Hung, who America fell in love with for no reason at all. That is a waste of time for the judges and an insult to their talents. Who is William Hung you ask? He is the one who could not sing a lick, but got a two-album deal and made approximately 2 million dollars because we felt bad for him. A joke gone too far.
When the judges, who helped elevate Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson and Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdulothers like Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard, Chris Doughtry, Fantasia Barrino and a lot of others, tell the truth about the horrific attempts of singing that come before them, why should they be condemned? Even Paula is getting into the act now, normally she would condemn the rude person who came forward, but now she is one of the main ones laughing. So America, take a stand like Simon, Paula and Randy and stick to the truth, do not let others waste your time with sorry attempts to get attention, fame or a name buy being the worst, stand up and say in a snobbish English accent “That was the worst that I have ever seen.”
