VH1 will premiere ego trip’s The (White) Rapper Show on Monday, Jan. 8. The show is hosted by Michael “MC Serch” Berrin of the pioneering white rap group, 3rd Bass and super producer, Prince Paul. The (White) Rapper Show is set in the South Bronx and features 10 contestants from all over America being tested on their knowledge of Hip-Hop and their views on race. The group of white rappers are competing for $100,000 dollars and reside in “The White House,” where pioneers like Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow, Fat Joe, Just Blaze and others critique them on their skills and knowledge. The (White) Rapper Show premieres on Jan. The eight-episode series airs at 10:30 pm.
