The legal wrestling match between wrestler Diamond Dallas Page and Jay-Z continues in court, as the wrestler has added Roc-A-Wear to a trademark and copyright infringement lawsuit.
Diamond Dallas Page filed the original lawsuit in December of 2005 in Los Angeles Federal Court, claiming that Jay-Z’s popular Roc-A-Fella diamond hand gesture was illegally adopted from his patented “Diamond Cutter” symbol.
Yesterday (Dec. 11), a federal judge granted a motion to add Rocawear, Roc Apparel Group LLC, Urban Menswear LLC and Rocawear Licensing LLC to the lawsuit, which seeks an injunction to prevent Jay-Z from using the symbol, as well as an unspecified amount of monetary damages.
Page decided to add Rocawear to the existing lawsuit, after he learned Jay-Z recently used the hand gesture to market and promote the Rocawear clothing line.
Wow, guess everybody got they hand out. I guess this black man is makin’ too much cake and greasing too many corporate hands to get away scott free. Is it really the exact same sign??? You decide.

I heard about thise about a year ago but it seems to be making the news again. It really makes no sense to me. Page says he’s tryin to protect his character but the guy doesn’t even wrestle anymore. He retired about 3 years ago after a botched superplex from the top rope had him crack his spine. I hear these days he’s tryin to become sometime of yoga guru. Maybe he wants to lisence DDP yoga mats with the diamond cutter sgn on them, lol

i remember thinking about diamond dallas page when jay and them first started throwing up that diamond in the late 90′s its possible he stole it but your great great great grand parents stole our great great great grandparents homeland and culture so you might have to eat this on DDP!
