Well not to long ago we ran a peice on a website called NiggaSpace. The site funtioned much like MySpace but instead of being a “Place For Friends”, claimed to be a “Place For Niggas”. The site appeared to be run by some white kid from Jersey who claimed that he was tryin to erase the negative conatations that go along with the word “nigga”. However if someone were to visit the site they would have noticed it appeared to be more of place dedicated to mocking black people.

Well, now the site is shut down and its apparantly due to the bad press it recieved from sites like Highbrid Nation. Today I recieved a email from the people behind NiggaSpace. The email read as follows…

In regards to the negative articles about Niggaspace
The owner of Niggaspace is actually the owner of WWW.Holla.US .
Because of the public cry about the name he will be merging niggaspace to holla.us.

How nice of them to email me directly to let me know that. Guess that was thier way of saying “Thanks to bastards like you we were forced to shut down our site but we have a new way to make money. So f*** you”. Hey, I don’t care if you guys make money with your new MySpace carbon copy website (yeh I checked it out and thats exactly what it is). Good luck with that!

Anyway, its nice to see that even in its short time on the net Highbrid Nation is already helping things happen in the world. Highbrid Nation will always have a light hearted approach to things but if there is evOr a wrong that needs righted we will be there. We’re like Batman but with a sense of humor.
