Well this has been making a lot of news lately. Actor Michael J. Fox has filmed a commercial in support of Claire McCaskill. In the commercial Fox shakes and wobbles as he talks about having Parkinson’s Disease and stem cell research. The commercial sparked a lot of controversy because apparantly Fox has never looked this bad on televison with the disease leading some to acuse him of purposely not taking his medication for show and even acting in an exaggeragted manner to make himself look worse than he is. Below is the actual commercial for you to decide.

Evorgleb: I’m not as disturbed by his constant moving as I am about how he refered to Missouri as “Missoura”.

Hey, it’s great to see a celebrity using their status to make change and help others in need. Let’s give the guy some credit and also give Rush Limbaugh a big thumbs down for his tactless comments. Way to go Highbrid in keeping up with the news.

Leave it to Gleb. Stem Cell Research is a political hot bed right now. My question is why? Are Republicans scared that by doing research on the brain stem, some mad scientist will start cloning humans in his garage? Like with any controversal topic there’s gotta be an underlying theme. MONEY!

As for Michael J., seems like a man should have the right to go off his meds to prove a point. My major gripe is if he can prevent his body from going into a involuntary Harlem Shake by simply taking meds…then why the hell can’t Mohammed Ali?

  3. Evorgleb says:

^ actually a while back I seen an interview with Ali in which he wasn’t shaking at all and was even speaking. I was a bit surprised becuase before that I had only seen him constantly shaking and keeping relatively quiet.

As for stem Cell research, you are dealing with embryos which some feel is a human life. This will always be a touchy subject and like abortion and capital punishment, don’t expect it to be resolved anytime soon.

DAMN ALEX P. KEATON YOU WAS THE SMARTEST DUDE IN CLASS NOW LOOK AT YOU. SHAKIN AND SHIT! THATS CRAZY TO ME AND HE’S MAD YOUNG!

  5. erica says:

yeah i heard that hold missoura thing to…didn’t acting teach you to drop the middleamerican accent? lol
but about his moving around that seemed real… i dont think he would have made fun of a disease he really suffers from ….i agree with jtaub lets give this guy some credit and consider the matter at hand…BOOO RUSH

  6. E. Smith says:

Yeah Rush is an ass, and as far as embyotic research, or whatever it is called, I say go on ahead and do it. The republicans have no problem with sending a full life already doing shit to Iraq to die, or killing an Iraqi, or the damn death sentence, but you want to protect what may not even be life? That is straight bullshit! An embyo can possibly save millions of lives, and they want to stop this. They are scared that people may come to thier senses and stand up against them.

Sorry, that whole topic angers me.
