Actor Wesley Snipes was indicted Tuesday on eight counts of tax evasion. He reportedly failed to pay close to $12 million in taxes and illegedly hasn’t filed taxes in SIX YEARS! Snipes, star of White Man Can’t Jump, Jungle Feaver and Blade has yet to turn himself in and authorities have been looking for him. If convicted, Snipes, 44, could spend up to 16 years in prison.
According to the indictment unsealed by Tampa Police, Snipes had his taxes prepared by American Rights Litigators, an accountanting firm with a history of filing false returns to reap payments for their clients. In the past the firm received 20 percent of refunds from clients.
In 2005, South Africa refused to grant Snipes admission after he was said to try and enter the country with a fake passport.
