R.Kelly Finally Going To Trial For Underage Bumping and Grinding

Over four years have passed since R. Kelly was first charged with 14 counts of child pornography which came about after a video tape was released showing someone who appeared to be Kelly having sex with an underage minor. Allegedly the girl in the video was the neice of singer Sparkle and was 14 at the time the video was made. The family of the girl has denied repeatedly that it is indeed her in the film which was widely bootlegged since it first surfaced. Kelly was originally facing 21 counts but 7 were later dropped. There were also 12 counts of child pornography charged against him in Polk County, Florida for pictures found on a digital camera but those too were dropped after a judge determined that the evidence was seized illegally. The R. Kelly trial begins tommorrow and will be presided over by Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan.
