This is a nice pictureValentine’s Day is normally looked at a day of love, giving gifts to that special person and cuddling up with some romantic music, a box of chocolates and getting ready to knock boots. That is for suckers, the real way to prove your love, is to sell your soul to the devil so that they may stay alive. This Valentine’s Day Johnny Blaze will do just that.

Ghost Rider, set to release on February 16, 2007, isGhost Ryder Coming 2.16.07 the story of Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage), a stunt motorcyclist, who sells his soul to the devil a.k.a. Mephisto (Peter Fonda) and becomes taken over by the “supernatural spirit of vengeance” Ghost Rider in order to save the life of his true love Roxanne Simpson (Eva Mendez). When Mephisto’s son, Blackheart (Wes Bentley) tries to over throw his father and create a new hell, Mephisto charges Johnny to do battle with him. He is Johnny Blaze by day and Ghost Rider by night.

The original new SupermanGhost Rider is a classic Marvel comic turned to a movie and hopes to rise to the top of the mountains of the X-Men Trilogy and Spiderman Trilogy and not sink to the depths of the sea with The Puinsher and The Incredible Hulk. Only time will tell, with Spiderman 3 coming out this summer, will Cage do what Jackman and Maguire did or fail like his Face Off counterpart Travolta?

Looking at the trailer the movie actually looks pretty good, it reminds me of Spawn. The role is pretty deep and sad so Cage will fit perfectly into is with his typical over acting. If that fails, you still have Eva The Beautiful Eva MendezMendez to look at. As it stands right now I give Ghost Rider an E+ (that’s my rating system until I get an official one. E++ This can be an event, E+ Go see it, E If you have time, E- wait for the DVD, E– Wait for it to come on Fox.)

Where is the trailer E.? I know its gotta be on YouTube. You gotta hook us up. Anyway, I’m not expecting much from this movie. Cage is one of the worst (over)actors in Hollywood. Ghost Rider isnt even that great of a character. If they wanted to make a movie out of a great marvel character they’d mess with Deadpool. He’s probably one of the best characters for a movie. And whats up with you comparing Punisher to Hulk. Punisher wasn’t that bad!

The tags for the trailer are on the story, for some reason it will not come up. Cage is a horrible (over)actor but it seems like the story will fit him perfectly. As for the Puinsher, that movie puinshed me just like Dare Devil (which I forgot about because it was so bad) and the Hulk (which I remember only because I was awakened by a fire alarm in the theatre while the movie ran), I don’t know much about Deadpool, but at the rate they are going Silver Surfer may get a movie and that will be a huge mistake. Maybe they should do a Bishop Movie, if written correctly that will be good.
