According to Fox News, the Associated Press reports that Dallas Cowboys receiver, Terrell Owens was rushed to the emergency room late Tuesday night after suffering an allergic reaction to pain medication. The medicine was probably prescribed to ease the pain associated with his broken hand. The statement from the hospital spokeswoman claims that attempts to induce vomiting were necessary to purge the toxins from Owens’s system. This places doubt on the allegation that when asked if he was trying to committ suicide by EMT’s on the scene Owens answered, “Yes”. As of yet there is no word from Terrell’s agent on the incident, his health, or his status and likelihood of playing in the game on Sunday against Tennessee.
