The size of the disc pretty much sets the standards for the quality of the picture. HD-DVD is about 20 gig(maybe more, but I doubt it). Blue-Ray is 25 to 50 gig( big enough to support the kickass graphics PS3 has. My point is that there's already a disc that can be played by all three different players, and that is called "STANDARD" DVD.
