Tupac Remembered…10 Years Later

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of Tupac Amaru Shakur’s death. One of the iconic figures in Hip Hop’s history, Tupac’s impact will be felt for generations. Tupac rapped about life’s hardships while living in the ghetto and many issues that addresses unfavorable conditions in inner-city and urban communities around the nation. Some topics ranged from politics, violence, racial equality and economic status.
On September 7th Tupac was shot in Las Vegas while riding alongside Marion “Suge†Knight. He will later succumb to his injuries on September 13th 1996.
His murder remains unsolved.

its been that long already?!
I know i’m goint to sound like a hater. But I definately wasn’t a fan of Tupac. He didn’t move me in the way that some artists do or did. Highly overated in my opinion. Someone please show me an argument where his music rivaled Biggie. Respect to the dead however.
I don’t appreciate what skee said. Tupac and Biggie were BOTH great! Just different styles. That’s like comparing apples and oranges. I was and AM fans of BOTH!! Love the story, sweetie! Keep up the good work. (aside) RIP Tupac…you handsome sucka… :O)
I gotta admit, at first I did not see what was so great about PAC, but after my creative writing class, and one of the books we studied was his poetry book, then the documentary on Pac, I got to give him much respect, he was very inspirational, passionate and actually stood for something. It is a shame that with the power he possesed, he was not able to control himself.
