Eminem Teams With Nike

Looks like rapper Eminem will be designing sneakers for Nike’s Air Max Line. Eminem will design 64 pairs of shoes ranging from the Air Max ’87 to the Air Max 360. After the shoes are completed Mr. Mathers will be signing each pair himself. From there some shoes will be appear in Nike Stores and the others will show up on Ebay for auction. The proceeds from the specially designed Air Maxes will be split between Em’s Marshall Mathers Foundation and Ninemillion.org which is a non-profit organization with Nike partially owns. The Ebay autions for Eminem’s Air Max’s will begin Aug. 31

I think this is a really good idea, since the proceeds will be going to a charity. Too often entertainers and actors pocket the proceeds from lending their name or talents to the endorsement of a product.
