What’s Beef? BET Aims To Explain

On Oct. 4th BET will be debuting thier new program “Beef: The Series”. The program will chonicle well known disputes amongst celebrities. Kobe vs. Shaq, Romeo vs. Bow Wow and and of course Ludacris vs. Mr. Bill O’Reilly. Some people are sure to have a problem with the show as it may reinforce some of the more negative aspects of the hip hop culture. However judging by how often “beefs” are used as marketing tools by record labels to sell millions of albums, its easy to believe “Beef: The Series” will do well in the ratings.
