Many People who have seen X3 will probably assume that it was the final chapter in the series. It appears that is not the case though. Producer Lauren Shuler Donner has told the L.A. Daily News that most of the newer cast members of the franchise are still under contract to do more movies but old cast members may not be. Those older cast members, such as Halle Berry, are the ones keeping a X4 from happening because getting them on board for the project may be a bit too expensive. Though a fourth X-Men movie is not a definate 20th Century Fox will be moving forward with a Wolverine movie starring Hugh Jackman as well as a movie about a young Magneto.

MARKETING MATTERS: Obama’s Political Branding
Graphic designer Sol Sender tells how the iconic Obama logo came to be

I would like to see X4 happen, but at the same time it might have that feeling of having held on to the series too long. It would be cool to see a movie about a young Magneto since his character is so complex and most people don’t know his origins.
Yeh they should leave well enough alone
I’d love to see a 4th movie but I’m really hoping they turn up the Storm character a few notches and don’t cast Halle Barry for the role again. In the comics, Storm was this fierce witchy force of nature, but in the movie she seems somewhat ineffective and a bit lame. Plus, Halle is a great actress but just doesn’t have what it takes to do this character justice.
It may sound crazy but several of us here in Minneapolis agree that Tyra Banks would be a good choice to be cast in that role and could actually pull it off well. Sure, her show is silly but she has the look and the ‘juice’ to make it work. If you agree…spread the word!
